Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PBI Docs you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. The competent court is the District Court of Amsterdam (Rechtbank Amsterdam).

PBI Docs provides automated documentation generation for Power BI workspaces. You connect a repository, trigger a documentation job, and receive machine-generated Markdown or HTML documentation based on your Power BI files.

The service is provided “as is” for business use. We do not offer a consumer-facing product. You must be at least 18 years old and acting in a commercial or professional capacity.

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Keep your credentials and connected OAuth tokens secure. Notify us immediately at support@dividata.nl if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Each workspace (tenant) may have one owner and multiple members. The owner is responsible for member access and compliance within their workspace.
• You may not share accounts or allow access by automated bots outside the service.

You must not:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or attack service infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense the service without prior written agreement.
• Generate documentation at a volume that constitutes abuse (automated bulk runs exceeding your plan limits).

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Access to PBI Docs requires an active paid subscription (details on our pricing page). Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are exclusive of VAT.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Refunds are not provided for partial months. If we materially reduce service functionality, we will offer a pro-rata credit.
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Ours: The PBI Docs platform, software, trademarks, and branding remain the exclusive property of Dividata B.V.

Yours: You retain full ownership of your Power BI files, repositories, and generated documentation outputs. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your files solely for the purpose of generating documentation on your behalf.

Generated documentation is produced by AI. We make no warranty that it is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing or distributing them.

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For enterprise customers subject to GDPR, we act as a data processor when processing data on your behalf. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.

We warrant that we will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, all other warranties — express or implied — are excluded, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated documentation will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three-month period preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we were advised of their possibility.

• By you: Cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings. Your workspace and data remain accessible until the end of the billing period.
• By us: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for breach of these terms, or with 30 days notice for any other reason. On termination we will make your data available for export for 30 days, then delete it.

We will notify workspace owners by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
